I love my mother, she is the most amazing person in my world.  She has done so much for me and continues to always be there for me in every way.  I can truly say she is my best friend second to my husband (would not want to hurt his feelings).  Needless to say I am already thinking of mothers day and all the things I could do for her.  We both have the love of crafting and she was kind enough to share a little of her talent with me.  So what better thing to give her than some homemade cards.
This card will be perfect because once again I will have everything done except the sentiment, and then she can stamp whatever she would like... as long as it fits on her banner.
Take a look at that awesome flower, can you believe it is paper?  My up-line Julie Wadlinger showed me this awesome technique.  I don't even know if there is a name for it so if you know of one comment so we can know.
 I used the
Nacho Average Challenge #4l which was perfect for this flower, it just showcases it beautifully.  Want to know how to make the flower?
This is how you do it.
- Punch your desired circular punch, I used the blossom punch for mine.  I punched 4 but once again you can do as many as you like.  Play around with it and see what you like best.
- Stack them together,  punch a hole in center of them, then use a brad to attach them together.  You can use a decorative brad.  I used a boring one so I put a large rhinestone over it.
- Using a spray bottle on your mist setting spray a few times to moisten your top layer then scrunch and fold in, I usually fold around the brad using it as a guide.  Continue doing each layer until all layers have been sprayed and scrunched.
- Then for the fun part, just un-scrunch and unfold off the brad, just play with it until you like the look of it.
- When you are all finished and like the look just set aside and let dry, it will be crunchy when dry.
I hope you like it, give it a try, it was a lot of fun.  Thanks Julie for sharing!!
